Kleintierzentrum Arndt has existed at its location on the Geigersberg in Karlsruhe-Durlach since January 2017. It was never a start-up in the classic sense: veterinarian Susanne Arndt had already taken over two small-animal practices in Karlsbad and expanded them with a dedicated team. Before that she spent many years as an assistant veterinarian at a renowned small-animal clinic in Cologne and led the small-animal department of an animal health centre in Lahr.

Clinic-Level Medicine – With Personal Care

Under the medical direction of Susanne Arndt we offer modern, highly specialised veterinary medicine at clinic level. As a fully equipped, physical small-animal practice, we are the reliable point of contact right here on site. Across more than 400 square metres we work with state-of-the-art equipment to safeguard and improve the quality of life of the animals entrusted to us. In doing so, we combine professional excellence with the personal care of an owner-run practice.

Treating Causes, Not Just Symptoms

Our ambition is not limited to easing surface symptoms. We deliberately look for the underlying causes in order to stabilise your animal’s health for the long term. Clear diagnostics instead of vague assumptions, understandable advice as equals, and fair, medically sensible treatment plans are at the heart of what we do. Structured processes and well-considered appointment management minimise stress and waiting times for people and animals alike.

Cat Friendly Clinic

Cats are particularly sensitive to an unfamiliar practice environment. Our centre is certified to the international “Cat Friendly Clinic” standard: our premises, processes and team are specifically geared to the needs of cats. Dogs and cats wait separately so that there is as little stress as possible for all patients. Our team is trained in especially gentle “low-stress handling”.

Stronger Together

Our team regularly discusses difficult cases with one another and, where needed, brings in external experts and university clinics for your animal’s treatment. Because anyone who claims to be able to do everything alone does not know their own limits. For us, veterinary medicine is above all a matter of trust – we treat every animal as gently and patiently as if it were our own.
